We know this may be disappointing to those eager to purchase a geforce rtx 3070 as soon as possible, however this shift will help our global. Nvidia announced the rtx 3070 alongside the rtx 3080 and rtx 3090 at its event on september 1. Nvidia says that the rtx 3070 is faster than the rtx 2080 ti at less than half the price, and on average is 60 percent faster than the original rtx 2070. The most affordable of the three new ampere gpus, the rtx 3070 is slated for launch in october. The geforce rtx 3070 will release last in october, but it will start at $809 aud which is great value for money. That's a big step up from the old gtx 970's $330 price point, but not too much worse than the gtx 1070's initial $449 launch price. As you can see in the graph below.
